STAR provides transition services to local high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help pave the way for their future. STAR’s Individualized Supported Employment Program leads the state in assisting high school students who are in transition to find and keep meaningful jobs in their local community, with a focus on Norwalk, Wilton, Weston, Westport, Darien and New Canaan. In addition to employment, STAR provides supported opportunities for individuals to volunteer at local non-profits and participate in community-based life enrichment classes.
